Boys’ Events

Training

Winter Lacrosse Conditioning, at Malvern Preparatory School, boys 9th grade an up, 11-week program runs Saturdays 1-2pm from December 1st- February 9th. This high intensity style of training will improve player endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility and balance. Training sessions will consist of: Drop Sets, Super sets, Circuit Training, Jump rope, Hill workouts, Sprint workouts, Medicine Ball workouts, Plyometrics, Stretching.
After every training session each athlete will receive a weekly training program to follow for the upcoming week. Staff: Todd MacFarlane, Malvern Preparatory School, Assistant Lacrosse Coach, Former NLL Player, Former United States Marine Training Specialist, Has trained numerous Professional, International, College and High School Players
Please bring: running shoes, towel, cleats, sweatshirt, sweatpants shorts and t-shirt. The eleven week program will cost $275.00; Please make checks payable to: Malvern Preparatory School. Registration is open to the first 20 athletes only.

Lacrosse Evolution Boys Lacrosse S.A.Q. Training: Training classes for boys lacrosse players grades 1-12 all levels and skill sets. Training offered 4 days a week at Downingtown and King of Prussia training centers. Training runs from January 7th to March 3rd. Cost start at $200 per athlete. Clinics

Elite Training Middle School/High School Specific Strength, Conditioning and S.A.Q. Training Camp for boys’ and girls’ lacrosse players at its Bryn Mawr site at 4 N. warner Ave. from Dec. 10-Jan. 27. The Camps will address the unique needs of lacrosse players, such as footwork, hand speed, explosive power, muscular strength, anaerobic endurance, cardiovascular conditioning, core training, speed/agility and injury prevention. The camps meet every Thursday from 4-5pm (Middle School Athlete) 5-6pm (High School Athlete) and Saturday from 2-3pm (Both). Cost: $205 Per Athlete

Winter tournament

380 Lacrosse Annual 17+ Iron Man Tournament, Dec. 26-27 (Pool play on 26th; Playoffs and championship on 27th), at The Exeter Field House. 4401 Perkiomen Ave Exeter PA, 19606
www.ExeterFieldHouse.com. Cost: $400 per team. Teams will be placed in pools of four teams. Pool play will take place on Wednesday Dec. 26, 2012 9am – 3:30pm. Pool play will determine seeding for playoffs. Seeded playoffs will take place Thursday Dec. 27, 2012 12noon – 3:30pm. Only top two teams from each pool will advance to playoffs.

Spring Tournament

The fourth annual Battle of Fort Washington Lacrosse Tournament, hosted by The Upper Dublin Boys Crooked Crosse Lacrosse Club, Saturday, March 9 & Sunday March 10, 2013 at the SPARK all weather fields in Upper Dublin, PA. The tournament will consist of four boys divisions, A1 & A2 (7/8th grade) and B1 & B2 5/6th grade teams. Each team is guaranteed a Minimum 2 game, 25 Minute Running Halves. The A Divisions will be played Saturday, March 9th with B Division playing on Sunday, March 10. Summer Tournaments

5th annual Meltdown Tournament, June 22-23, 2013, at Abington high, U11 through High School A Divisions. Meltdown’s close proximity to Philadelphia, 12 centrally located fields and multiple access parking lots make it the perfect tournament venue. Personal team pages, live reported results and Internet based standings make it as one of the most quality and innovative tournaments in the country. Field expected to have at least 90 competitive clubs that battle each year for the Brindle Cup. Click here for more info and registration.

The 11th Annual Evolution Games, June 29th-30th, Downingtown PA. Over 100 teams from all over the country including top programs in the area. U9-4 games guaranteed for $850, U11-U15 A+B Divisons-5 games guaranteed for $1250, High School A+B Divisons-6 games guaranteed for $1500. Some past participants include Black Bear, Dukes Lacrosse, Team Philadelphia, Tri-State, and many local High Schools. Sponsors and Vendors welcomed. The Philly LXF, July 13-14, at two sites in Philadelphia, U9-U15 teams from Philadelphia city and suburban and the surrounding region. Everyone is guaranteed three games and organizations sending more than one team will be eligible for the Team Cup Challenge. Price is $750 for early-bird registration. The 6th Annual Patriot Games will be held July 20-21 on 23 fields at three venues in Bucks County. Nearly 200 teams from across the country and Canada (representing many emerging hotbeds) played in the event this past July. We anticipate an even more competitive and diverse field again this year!
