Chris Goldberg is here tonight beneath unassuming skies for the Philly Charity Showdown at PPL Park. Our first game features HEADstrong and Leading Edge (NJ).

Game 1
H: Brian Sinex (Ridley) 43:00 – 1-0
Play is slow

Two big saves for H goalie Elliot Avis (Haverford School)

LE – David Gill (Chatham) ties game on nice passing play, 32:00 – 1-1 contest
LE – JT Palladino (Ridge) puts his team ahead 2-1, 31:01

H: Dillan Buettner (Great Valley) makes it 2-2, 29:20
H: Bryan Mizell (Strath Haven) gives H 3-2 lead with a blazer, 28:35

Mizell was the Fastest Shot winner at the Strath Haven Fall lax Fest last weekend

LE – Jared Delouisa (Somerville) ties it, 24:00 – Game at 3-3

H: Jack Glemser (Allentown Central Catholic) puts H back ahead after a turnover, 22:42

LE – David Gill scores again, 21:30 – game is 4-4

H – Brian Sinex scores again to put H up 5-4, 19:29

Now 10:15 left

LE – Alex Gaydos (Ridge) ties it, 5-5 with 10:05 to play
LE – Gill scores yet again on a nice feed by Palladino, 8:10 – LE leads, 6-5

H- Sinex again, ties it 6-6 with 7:10 left

LE – Palladino scores unassisted – LE leads 7-6, 5:20
LE – Palladino makes steal and goal to make it 8-6, 2:25

Leading Edge wins, 8-6

Game 2 –
Haverford School vs. Hill Academy

HA – Jean-Luc Chetner puts Hill up 1-0, 41:30
HS – Brendan Jacob ties it, 40:00
HS – Reilly Hupfeldt puts Fords up, 2-1, 39:35

HA – Jeff Teat ties it, 38:30
HA – Justin Huggins puts HA ahead, 3-2, 37:30
HA – Huggins again from Teat, 33:13
HA – Austin Lane makes it 5-2, 26:50
HA – Teat again, now 6-2, 26:20
HA – Austin Diviticus makes it 7-2, 18:25
HA – Connor Ham from Teat, now 8-2, 15:55
HA – Chris Cloutier from Teat makes it 9-2, 11:30
HA – Lane adds to lead, 10-2, 8:42
HA – Chris Robertson makes it 11-2 – WOW this team has talent and is young, 11-2, 5:55
HA – Lane again, 12-2, 1:50
