Fall Team Tournaments

Main Line Masters Fall Lacrosse Tournament, November 17th, come enjoy a day of Masters LACROSSE on The Shipley School’s (Bryn Mawr, PA) brand-new beautiful 2 Field Turf fields! Entry is $650/team. Tournament will start at 10 am and run until 4 pm with 3 games guaranteed per team (a 4th if you make the Championship game). Following the lacrosse action there will be a 2-hour Social event (Buffet and refreshments) at Kelly’s Taproom in Bryn Mawr, waking distance from the fields, from 5-7 pm. Cost for Happy Hour is $20/player or $25/non-player. Happy hour tickets can be purchased at the tournament or at the door of Kelly’s. The Shipley School 139 N. Merion Ave Bryn Mawr, PA 19010. Summer Tournaments

The Philly LXF
, July 13-14, at two sites in Philadelphia, U9-U15 teams from Philadelphia city and suburban and the surrounding region. Everyone is guaranteed three games and organizations sending more than one team will be eligible for the Team Cup Challenge. Price is $750 for early-bird registration. The 6th Annual Patriot Games will be held July 20-21 on 23 fields at three venues in Bucks County. Nearly 200 teams from across the country and Canada (representing many emerging hotbeds) played in the event this past July. We anticipate an even more competitive and diverse field again this year! Clinics

Doctoberfest youth clinics by Baggataway Lacrosse Club, for four Sundays at Victory Field at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. The Nov. 11 session will be a fundraiser for Chestnut Hill College Men’s Lacrosse team’s trip to California next spring. The next sessions will be held on Nov. 18, Nov. 25 and Dec. 2. The cost is $80. There will be two Groups: Grades K-4 & 5-8, both running from 10 a.m.-noon. The fun and learning continues at DOCTOBERFEST! Players have an amazing opportunity to learn from DII players and coaches who are dedicated to improving the core skills and techniques required for success. Passing/catching, groundballs, stick checks, body defense, shooting and agility are incorporated in every session.

MOTIVATION, INSPIRATION, DEDICATION. Moyer Lacrosse Academy, begins Oct. 16 for five Tuesdays, 7th through 12th grade, Ampro Fieldhouse, 20 Bunting La., Clifton Heights, PA, 19018. Academy includes: Five Three Hour Training Sessions, * Professional expertise from current Professional Lacrosse Players, NCAA collegiate coaches, and highly educated high school coaches with respected lacrosse programs. 2012 Fall Academy Schedule – 11/6 6:00 – 9:00 PM (7th – 12th Grade); 11/13 6:00 – 9:00 PM (7th – 12th Grade)
The Academy is for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players, no matter their age. It is designed to provide on field instruction and direction. The Fall Academy is a great way for off season lacrosse athletes to supplement their lacrosse IQ while receiving top flight instruction, and plenty of repetitions with positive feedback and reinforcement.

Ultimate Middie Combine at Ampro Fieldhouse for boys in grades 5 to 12, Nov. 17. This is being taught by Major League Lacrosse All-Pro and Team USA member Greg Gurenlian (Springfield-Delco, Penn State). The clinics will focus on all aspects of the game from offense to defense and even at the face-off X. Dates: Oct 20 and Nov 17 (can go to either or both), at Ampro Fieldhouse, Clifton Heights, PA; Times: 11:30 – 2pm; Ages: Boys in 5th – 12th grades. Elite Training Middle School/High School Specific Strength, Conditioning and S.A.Q. Training Camp for boys’ and girls’ lacrosse players at its Bryn Mawr site at 4 N. warner Ave. from Dec. 10-Jan. 27. The Camps will address the unique needs of lacrosse players, such as footwork, hand speed, explosive power, muscular strength, anaerobic endurance, cardiovascular conditioning, core training, speed/agility and injury prevention. The camps meet every Thursday from 4-5pm (Middle School Athlete) 5-6pm (High School Athlete) and Saturday from 2-3pm (Both). Cost: $205 Per Athlete
