Haverford School junior midfielder Jack Appicciafuoco has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Lafayette College.

Jack Appicciafuoco log:

Jack Appicciafuoco

High School: The Haverford School

Graduation Year: 2014

Position: Midfield

College Choice: Lafayette College

Club Affiliations: HEADstrong, Old School

Major lacrosse honors: Tri-State National Champion

What will you major in/study? Economics

Why did you choose Lafayette? “Lafayette has great academics, which was the main focus in my search. I wanted a smaller school close to home and Lafayette was the perfect fit. Coaches (Jim) Rogalski, (Matt) Musci, and (Ed) Williams were very welcoming and are committed to the success of the Lafayette lacrosse program.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “We are young, but very talented. With all of this talent combined with the great coaching staff at Haverford, I am confident that we will have another successful season.”

Additional Comments: “First, I would like to thank The Haverford School coaching staff: Coach John Nostrant, Mark Petrone, Travis Loving, and Avery Cook. I would also like to thank my HEADstrong coaches: Coach Brian Neary, Steven Hill, John McSorley, and Brian Hill. Also my Old School coaches: Coach Dave Metzbower and Todd MacFarlane. Lastly, I would to thank my family for their support, and the man who introduced me to the game, Coach Peter Rohr.”

Other schools considered: Colgate, Dartmouth, Holy Cross
