Maple Zone boys’ recruit: Lansdale Catholic attackman/MF McMenamin commits to Widener

Lansdale Catholic senior attackman-midfielder Dan McMenamin has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Widener University.

What will you major in/study:
Business

Why did you choose Widener? “I chose Widener because it was a great fit for me. Widener has a great business program and Coach (Brendan) Dawson is determined to make it one of the top Division III teams in the country.”

Outlook for your high school team in 2013: “We are returning a large senior class this year. We hope to improve on last year’s record and get back to the Catholic League playoffs.”

Other comments: “I would like to thank my parents for supporting me through the recruiting process. I would also like to thank Old Man Banks, Kevin Banks, and JP Banks for coaching me throughout the summer.”
