From Press Release

The Lehigh men’s lacrosse team’s Fall Ball finale against Ohio State on Sunday can be seen live online, as announced by LaxVision.

Opening faceoff is set for 1:45 p.m. local time (4:45 p.m. Eastern) with the pregame show set to begin 15 minutes prior. The game will air (for free) through The Lacrosse Network’s YouTube page at YouTube.com/TLN. It will be of television quality with Dan Matthews and former Virginia All-American Brett Hughes on the call.

Handling play-by-play will be Matthews, the creator and co-host of the first and most comprehensive talk show in North America dedicated to lacrosse, “Lacrosse Talk.” Hughes, a four-year starter at the University of Virginia and a six-year Major League Lacrosse veteran, will handle the color commentary.

The fourth annual San Francisco Fall Lacrosse Classic Presented by Levi’s® will be played in Kezar Stadium. Lehigh and Ohio State continue a long list of top programs that have played in the event, including Johns Hopkins, Notre Dame, North Carolina, Denver, Harvard and Brown, and thousands of Northern California lacrosse fans over its first three years.

The event is put on by the Bay Area Youth Sports Foundation, which hosts the only NCAA Division I men’s lacrosse competition in California. All revenue will benefit a variety of innovative sports and education programs for under served children in the Bay Area.

Prior to the game, a free youth clinic will be held for first through eighth graders, featuring student-athletes from the participating teams. A free coaches clinic will be also be held for local youth and high school coaches with the coaching staffs from Lehigh and Ohio State. Both clinics will begin at 11 a.m. on game day. For the complete schedule, please click here.

Coverage of the San Francisco Classic will showcase what LaxVision has in store for the spring, where it anticipates covering 40 games, plus or minus, from coast to coast and at varying levels of lacrosse. On the screen, fans will be treated to a minimum of three cameras, high quality graphics, instant replays, and an on screen scoreboard. On the field, viewers will be able to catch action from High School, Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) Divisions I and II, and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) contests from Divisions I, II, and III once the whistle blows to open the 2013 campaign.

The Mountain Hawks are coming off a historic 14-3 season and their first Patriot League Tournament Title and NCAA Tournament berth. Lehigh was ranked as high as fourth in the USILA/Coaches Poll and finished ninth in the final Nike/Inside Lacrosse Media Poll. The Buckeyes came in 18th in that final poll after finishing last season 8-7.

Sunday’s game will mark a homecoming for a pair of California natives: senior Noah Molnar (Newport, Calif.) and freshman Will McKee (San Francisco, Calif.).
