High School: Central Bucks East

Graduation Year:
2014

Position: Midfield-attack

College Choice: Loyola University

Club Affiliation: Mesa Fresh 2014, Duke’s L.C.

Major lacrosse honors:
Nike Blue Chip, Letterwinner at CB East since freshman year

Academic honors, service: Member of Extra-man Opportunity Program, Honor Roll,

What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose Loyola?
“Loyola has a great reputation academically and since they are moving to the Patriot League it makes it a great option to play high-quality lacrosse and get a great education at the same time. (Assistant) Coach (Dan) Chemotti, (Assistant coach Matt) Dwan and head coach (Charley) Toomey are class guys who put together a great program at Loyola. I am looking forward to playing under them and everything Loyola has to offer.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “We lost a lot of really good seniors that have moved on to play top Division I lacrosse, but we’re a really young team with a lot of young talent and potential. We expect to get to the final game every year. We have a really good outlook for this season, even though we will be young; we should be a really good contender throughout the spring.”

Other comments: “First off, I want to thank my parents. I wouldn’t be anywhere without them. I want to thank Pat Carney and Peter Scott of Mesa Fresh; they have developed me a as a player throughout youth. I also want to thank Ebe Helm and Jason Christmas of the Duke’s Lacrosse Club, for developing me as a player and helping me play top competition and helping me reach my potential. I also want to thank (head coach) Bruce Garcia at CB East and thank Brian Zappala, who got me started. His great coaching and attitude and love for the game rubbed off on me and helped me appreciate it. Mr. Zappala really opened my eyes to the game of lacrosse and showed me what it’s all about.”

Other schools considered?
Lehigh, Ohio State, Towson, Penn
