The following is the schedule for the inaugural Edward Taylor Coombs Memorial Tournament on Oct. 21-22 at Hatboro-Horsham High.
The event will be hosted by Hatboro-Horsham, Marist College and Ursinus College. The Edward Taylor Coombs (ETC) Foundation was established in honor of nineteen year old Edward Taylor Coombs, a Hatters graduate and Marist rising sophomore who was tragically killed in a car accident on August 6th, 2011.
The event will run for two days. Day one, on Saturday the 20th, will feature Division 1 and Division II men’s teams Marist, Lafayette, Binghamton, Manhattan, Merrimack, and Dowling. Saturday will also include Division 1 women’s teams Marist, Wagner, and La Salle. Division III men’s teams will meet on Sunday the 21st and will include Ursinus, St. Mary’s, Cabrini, McDaniel, Montclair State, Scranton, Mercy and Eastern.
Admission to the games is $5.00, free for all under the age of 5. Parking will be free in the lots surrounding the high school.
