What will you major in/study? “Most likely business as Monmouth has a great business program.”
Why did you choose the school? “Monmouth’s campus is beautiful and being 1 mile from the beach certainly does not hurt either. I am impressed with Coach (Brian) Fisher and his vision for the lacrosse program at Monmouth. The knowledge he gained at Notre Dame will undoubtedly help him build a top-notch program quickly. The opportunity to play as a freshman was also extremely enticing. I am excited to play for coaches Fisher and Andrew Geison.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “Conestoga graduated some great players on both sides of the ball. But the feeder program is extremely strong and there is always talent to backfill those positions.”
Other schools considered? Rutgers, Boston Univ, Navy, Hartford
Other comments: “I want to thank my Mom, Dad and brother Matt for helping me stay focused and patient to make the right decision for my future. I also want to thank my high school coaches, Jef Hewlings, Scott Ketcham and Brian Samson who were always available to listen, guide and give encouragement. A big thank you to Joe Karpinsky who opened my eyes to lacrosse outside of the Lehigh Valley, and to the Duke’s LC coaches, especially Jason Christmas, Ebe Helm, Mike Mackrides and Joe Vetrone.”
