Boys’ Recruiting Tournaments

Inaugural National Invitational Fall Select 175, invitation only showcase venue for the top boys’ lacrosse players in the classes of 2014, 2015 and 2016, Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Loomis Chaffee High School, Windsor Conn. – about 10 miles north of Hartford.
Click here to apply.. Click here for the event website. Players will be assigned to teams and play in three games. Games will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The National Invitational 175 Summer Showcase, invitation-only high school showcase, to be held in Upstate New York on July 29th – 31st, 2013.
Elite players in the classes of 2014, 2015 and 2016, that are interested in attending the showcase can click here to access more information on the National Invitational 175 Showcase website or click here to apply through a quick form.
There is no charge to apply. After you submit your application, you will need to forward the link to a coach that knows you and your ability so that he can provide a recommendation on your behalf.
Upon receiving your application and your coach’s recommendation, your application will be complete and you will be placed into a pool of candidates that will be considered for invitations.
The applications take only a few minutes to complete. The cut-off to submit your application will be October 15th, 2012. Anyone not applied by then will be placed onto a wait list. On October 20th, the National Invitational 175 summer showcase will send out its invitations to those players deemed most deserving and skilled enough to attend this showcase. Players invited will need to then register and pay on or before October 27th to secure their spot. The showcase is expected to attract coaches from well over 50 college programs in Division I and Division III based on last year’s event and interest in this Fall’s National Invitational Fall Select in November.

Fall Team Tournaments

The 380 Lacrosse CLASH @ The Hill Fall Tournament, Oct. 20-21, U11/U13/U15 will play Saturday; High School will play Sunday. Games to be played at The Hill School 717 E. High St. Pottstown, Pa 19464. Cost:$750 per team. Four games guaranteed, Two 25 min. halves. Age levels follow US Lacrosse rules. **Custom Championship Shooter Shirts for winners of each age group. To register: Click here.

Penncrest Endless Summer Lacrosse Tournament, Sponsored by Penncrest Lions Boosters. Date: Saturday, October 13, Location: Penncrest High, Times: 9AM – 5PM. Tournament Format: 4 games guaranteed, Games are 2 x 22 minute running halves, Start at 9AM and finish at 5PM, 18 player minimum roster; teams should supply their own pinnies, 2 levels of play: A & B, PIAA Referees, On-site trainer, Teams Signed up by September 17 receive T-Shirts for all participants. Registration Fee: $500. To hold your team’s entry, please forward a non-refundable deposit of $50. After team deposit is received, complete registration details will be forwarded. The 2nd Annual Lax-O-Lantern Tournament, Oct. 27 at the United Sports Training Center in Downingtown. Format: 7v7 (6 field players and 1 goalie). Team Cost: $500 Roster: Minimum 10 / Maximum 18
Divisions: U-11, U-13, U-15, High School A, High School B: Team Prizes- Best costumes
Games: 5 guaranteed games, 3 in Pool Play, then Championship Round: Modified field lengths, 25 minute running time

The 9th Annual Brian Houshower Memorial Tournament
, Oct. 27 at Downingtown West Middle School, 8AM-5 PM. This tournament honors the memory of the former Downingtown High student-athlete, a budding lax player who passed away as a result of a car accident in 2003. The tourney features an “A” division (high school varsity level) and “B” division (HS JV level). King of the Mountain Team Tournament, by Lehigh Lacrosse, Sunday, November 11, at Lehigh University, Goodman Athletic Campus (151 Goodman DriveBethlehem, PA 18015), and 12+ Fields. Time: 8:30AM – 4:30PM. Who: 7/8th (16 teams), Junior Varsity (16 teams) and Varsity (32 teams). Staff: Lehigh Men’s Lacrosse staff, Division 1, 2 and 3 coaches (Player Info recruiting packets will be available for attending college coaches). Lake-Lehman Fall Classic 7-on-7 lacrosse tournament for boys and girls. This 2nd Annual 7-on-7 tournament will be held on Sunday, November 4th at Lake-Lehman High School. Cost is just $240 per team. Proceeds will support the LLHS teams which are 100% self-funded. Lake-Lehman HS is located about one hour north of Allentown – just outside of Wilkes-Barre. Travel will be considered when assigning start times. There will be eight divisions are as follows:
Boys: U11, U13, U15, High School; Girls: Elementary, Jr. High, High School A, High School B. This tournament sold out last year. Reserve your team spot today.

The 4th Annual Care for the Cure Lacrosse Tournament, November 10 at Henderson High. The tourney features boys’ and girls’ high school brackets. The tourney raises money for cancer organizations on behalf of Henderson grad and Duquesne student-athlete Caroline ‘Care’ Cranston who lost her life in a battle with AML Leukemia on May 8th of 2010. The tournament has donated to the likes of Leukemia Lymphoma Society, Caroline Gallagher Cranston Memorial Fund, Headstrong Foundation, and the Be The Match Organization. Care for the Cure promotes a family atmosphere with vendors, silent auction items, a DJ and much more. The site features 2 turf fields, and 4 other plush grass fields.

Tournament Brackets: Boys Varsity High School A – Top Bracket will include highly competitive club and varsity programs; Boys Varsity B – Junior Varsity, young club, freshmen

Each team will play 3 games throughout the day in a round robin format. Games are 50min. in length with a 5min halftime. USlacrosse high school rules will apply!

Strath Haven Fall Lax Fest, Sunday, November 11 at the Strath Haven High School & Middle School, in Wallingford. Rain date is Saturday, November 17. The format will be the same as in years past:
-Festival format, no playoffs or championships; 3 games guaranteed; Games are 2, 25 minute running halves; Start at 9AM and finish at 4PM; -18 player minimum roster (bring own pinnies); 3 levels of play: varsity A; varsity B; and freshman/JV; PIAA Referees; Trainer on site; Team registration fee: paid in full before October 19, $550; after October 19, $600
