Strath Haven senior midfield Kirsten Wilhelmsen has committed to play Division I lacrosse at Lafayette College.

What will you major in/study? Undecided
Why did you choose Lafayette? “I was originally drawn to the Patriot League because of the strong academic reputation, and then specifically to Lafayette after I visited the campus and met Coach Ali Fisher, her assistant coaches, and all of the girls on the team.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “Next year’s Strath Haven team will have many returning Varsity players so we should be strong and hopefully we will find ourselves in Hershey again.”
Additional comments: “I would especially like to thank Karen Borbee and Betsy Glassford, my Brandywine Majors coaches who taught me the game of lacrosse and made it so much fun.
“In addition, a huge thank you to Rachel Busza and Laura Patton my Strath Haven coaches who did an awesome job of bringing our team together for each game. And finally, thanks to my club soccer coaches, Coach Joe and Coach Sam for recognizing and encouraging my love of both soccer and lacrosse.
