Yorktown (N.Y.) rising junior midfielder-face-off specialist Luke Palmadesso has committed to play Division I lacrosse at Villanova University.

What will you major in/study? Business
Why did you choose Villanova? Villanova’s high academic standards and strong lacrosse program were the two top things that drew me to the university. Nova’s size and location were both perfect for me. I also felt very comfortable with Coach (Mike) Corrado, as well as Coach (Andy) German and Coach (Simon) Connor.”
What is your H.S. team’s outlook for next season? “Our goal is to avenge our losses in the State semi-finals the previous two years, and hopefully bring home the state championship.”

Additional Comments: “I’m lucky to play for Yorktown because of its strong lacrosse program and I’d like to thank all of my coaches for helping me become a better lacrosse player.”
