Friends’ Central rising senior attack Ashley Tedesco has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Lafayette College.

What will you major in/study? Undecided
Why did you choose the school? “Lafayette felt like a perfect fit academically and athletically, the girls were so nice and the coaching staff was very welcoming. Also, it is close to my home so my family can easily come to games.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “We have won the Friends’ League Championship for the past three years and I would love to finish my high school career with one more. We have a ton of talent coming back and an amazing coaching staff. I can’t wait for my last season and I think we’ll be extremely competitive inside and outside of our league.”
Other comments: “I would like to thank Kathleen Geiger for teaching me how to play lacrosse and making me love the game from a very young age. I’d also like to thank (Friends’ Central coach) Lauren Rubin for guiding me through the entire recruiting process and helping me improve as a player. Lastly I’d like to thank my family, especially my mom for always being there to support me. And thank you to all of my teammates and coaches from both Friends’ Central and the Phantastix Lacrosse Club.”
