Seton Hall Prep rising senior attackman Brendan Barrett has become the first to commit to play Division I lacrosse at Boston University. Barrett was an All-Star selection at the Brine National lacrosse Classic for Team Pennsylvania in early July.

Reason for college choice: “Boston is a great town to go to college in. When I visited and met with Coach Ryan Polley (Malvern Prep graduate), he made me feel like I would really enjoy my time here as a lacrosse player, but even more as a student. Academics are very important to me and BU has a great reputation in that department.”
HS team’s Outlook for 2013: We graduated a very talented 2012 class this year. However, I have great faith in my 2013 class, the 2014’s, and the young 2015’s to get the ball rolling early on. I learned so much last season and hopefully I can take that and help lead the team to a county title, group title, and state title, one step at a time.
