Joe Dunn log:
High School: Malvern Prep

Position: Attack
College Choice: Marquette
Club Affiliations: Headstrong, Mesa Fresh

What will you major in/study? Finance
Why did you choose Marquette? “The number one factor in making my decision to attend Marquette, was definitely the academic reputation and challenge afforded by such an elite institution.
“I was extremely impressed by the entire coaching staff. It is clear to me that Coach (Joe) Amplo has put together an extremely competent staff poised to make us very competitive right out of the gate. In particular, I am excited to be part of the core foundation of a new D1 lacrosse program at Marquette. Playing in the big east was also a huge enticement.”
Other schools considered: Saint Joseph’s, Villanova, Rutgers
HS outlook for 2013 season? “While we did lose some very talented players to graduation, I feel that overall we will be more successful next year. Our schedule in 2012 was as tough as any schedule could be. I firmly believe however, that we are a better team having experienced competition at that level for entire an season. Additionally, we have some great young talent to fill the spots vacated by our seniors. Coach (David) Metz will have us ready to compete for the InterAc Championship next year.”
Additional Comments: “I would first like to thank my family, my mom, my father, and my two brothers Tom and Steve for their support and guidance. Without their help I would not be where I am today. Also I would like to thank my coaches throughout my grade school and High school career: Coach Eric Fink; Mike Evans; Dan and Mike Keating; David Metzbower; Todd Macfarlane; John Simms; Brian Neary; Steve Lane; Ryan, Mike, and Chris Creighton.”
