Friends Schools finals: Shipley wins fourth straight boys’ title in OT over ANC; Friends’ Central girls claim 3rd straight crown

Mac Gallagher collected three goals and scored in overtime today to lift host Shipley School to a 5-4 victory over Academy of the New Church in the championship game of the Friends Schools League.

The Gators (16-6) have won four straight Friends Schools championships – each time beating ANC (11-9).

In the Friends’ Schools girls’ title game, visiting Friends’ Central (17-4) claimed its third straight crown with a 10-8 victory over Germantown Friends (16-3). Each time Friends’ Central has beaten GFS for the crown.
