Maple Zone boys’ recruit: Penn Charter senior attackman Earley commits to Penn

Penn Charter senior attackman Tyler Earley has committed to the admission process to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Pennsylvania.

Major lacrosse honors: UnderArmour Underclassmen Team Philadelphia selection 2011, All Inter-Ac 2010, Philly Showcase Gait “Fab 40 Rising Sophomore” 2009, Philly Showcase Gait “Fab 40 Rising Junior” 2010, Nike Blue Chip 2009, 2010, 2011.

What will you major in/study: History

Why did you choose school? “I was looking for a great lacrosse program at a school with great academics. Coach (Mike) Murphy and the staff at Penn along with the players I met made it feel like a great fit for me personally and as a player.”

Other comments: “I will be completing a post graduate year and attending Deerfield Academy (Mass.) in September, 2012, and attending Penn in September, 2013. I would like to thank Coach (Pat) McDonough at Penn Charter for all his support and help with my recruiting process.”
