Thursday’s boys’ highlights: Late Edition: Conestoga tops Radnor; Strath Haven, WCE, CB South. Hill School are victorious

Connor Frisina and Tyler brooke each had two goals and an assist as host Conestoga defeated Radnor, 7-4, Thursday in a key Central League boys’ lacrosse games.

Robbie Zonino made eight saves for the Pioneers (9-1, 6-0), the top-ranked team in the state.

Radnor (6-5, 5-1) got two goals from Shane Shapiro, a goal and three assists from Peter Donato and 12 of 15 face-offs from Mike Barnes.

Strath Haven 9, Lower Merion 4

Mitch Cross had three goals and three assists and Will Ohley had three goals and one assist while Ted Bergman made 16 saves for the Panthers in the Central League win.

LM got four goals from Tyler Kopen.

Central Bucks South 12, Pennridge 11

Ryan Kelly made 20 saves and Brett Roberts had three goals and two assists to lead the Titans to the Suburban One National win.

Hatboro-Horsham 10, Spring-Ford 5

The Hatters (7-2) earned a big non-league win over the Rams (9-2).

Jimmy Murphy led the Hatters with four goals while Jimmy Durkin added a pair.

Steve Palo dominated face-offs, winning 11 of 17. Dom DeFazio anchored a standout defensive effort along with teammates Tyler Gehlhaus, Jake Cresta, Sean Black and Ryan Higgins. Mark Poust had eight saves.

Paul Major had four goals for Spring-Ford.

West Chester East 11, Unionville 10

Nick Scotese had three goals and an assist and Chris Gleason added two goals and two assists to help East defeat Unionville for its first win of the year.

Patch Johnson had three goals and an assist for Unionville.

Hill School 12, Peddie School 3

Hill (4-2, 1-0, Mid-Atlantic Prep) coasted to an 8-0 first half lead as Eric Foote, Eric Neumeyer, Nate Smith-Ide and Jack Wallice had multip-goal games and Andrew Marone dished three assists. Goalie Brennan Donville had seven saves and Colin Farawell won 13 of 16 face-offs.
