The Gloucester Catholic boys’ lacrosse team becomes the first South Jersey squad featured in Philly Gear.
The Rams are off to an impressive 2-0 start with wins over Monsignor Donovan and Moorestown Friends. Steve Jackson has nine goals in the two victories while Patrick Richardson and Jake Turner each have seven goals. Nick Lanciano, Anthony Iacovone, Tyler Graham and James Higgenbotham also have been keys for the offense.
Gloucester – only in its third year as a varsity program – also has gotten strong defensive play from close defenders Patrick Sheehan and Andrew Farrell.
Today the Rams have a key game at Haddonfield.
