Boys’ lacrosse: Henderson deals Ridley first loss on goal by Evans with 12.5 seconds left

Owen Evans scored an unassisted goal with 12.5 seconds to play Thursday night, lifting host Henderson to a thrilling 7-6 victory over previously-undefeated Ridley in a non-league boys’ lacrosse game.

Henderson improves to 4-1 while Ridley – ranked No. 6 in the PIAA in the PA Media Rankings – fell to 5-1.

The Warriors were trailing, 6-5, when Sebastian Kerslake scored his third goal of the game to tie it with just under three minutes to play. Evans finished with two goals and Chase Heisman made eight saves.

Kyle Bush and Dalton George each scored two goals and Tom McDermott made nine saves for the Green Raiders.
