Kara Magley scored four goals and Hannah Plappert added three goals and one assists as visiting Council Rock North edged Downingtown West, 9-8, Wednesday in non-league girls’ lacrosse.
Molly Doyle added a goal and an assist for the Indians, and Natalie Maher scored once. Taylor Beck turned away eight shots.
CR North (3-0) now has three-one goal wins.
Eva Winiarski, Jill Sanders and Melissa Volgegesang each scored twice for the Whippets.
