Methacton

Coach: Laurie Markle (6th season)

2011 Record: 14-7 overall, 11-2 PAC-10, defeated Phoenixville 15-3 in the semifinals before losing to Boyertown, 13-7, for the championship.

Gabby Numerato, Defense, 1st team all-area (2 years); Anna Marie Warrington, Attack; Alexa Maloney, Attack; Megan Gehret, midfield; Alyssa Rothman, goalie

Coach Laurie Markle’s comments: “We are in a rebuilding year in that we lost a large leadership group of seniors both on and off the field. We need to rebuild our offense that had been dominated by a core group of players that knew how to score. We are anchored by some starters from last year who will step up and lead the way.”
