Others to Watch:

Joe Harte (Senior/Midfield)
Jake Brown (Sophomore/Attack)

Strengths/Question Marks: “The strength of our team is our defense. We return our goalie, our close defense and both of our long stick middies. We are experienced and have depth defensively. We graduated a lot of our offense in Joka, Kelly, Lowery, and Cox. We will need to establish scorers for this year’s team.”

2012 Outlook: “We have a very senior heavy team this year. We rely on those seniors everyday to help us improve and get focused on our goals. Our number one goal is to get better every day and be playing our best lacrosse in May. We hope to challenge for the league title and qualify for the district playoffs.”

Games to Watch:
PW vs. Pennsbury (3/23)
PW vs. Wissahickon(3/27, 5/7)
PW vs. Upper Dublin (4/3, 4/27)
PW vs. Upper Merion (4/16, 5/4)
PW vs. Hatboro Horsham (5/10)

Neshaminy Redskins

Coach: Josh Hanlon, 7th Season

Assistant Coaches: Len Quici, Mike Polhemus

Last Year’s Record: 4-13 (2-8 SOL)

Notable Losses: Jimmy Roessner (Marymount) Shane Quinn (Bloomsburg-Football)

Key Returnees:
Austin Marshall- Goalie (Jr.)
Jake Kitchenman- Defense (Jr.)
Jordan Forman- Defense (Sr.)
Connor Bishop-Midfield (Sr.)
Alex McKenzie-Attack (Sr.)

Others to Watch:
Jon Blickle- Midfield (Jr.)
Andy MacDoanld-Attack (Sr.)

Strengths: “The Redskins return their entire defense from 2011 which includes 3 players who earned All-SOL honors. Austin Marshall (1st team SOL) returns in goal and will be supported by Jake Kitchenman and Jordan Forman.”

2012 Outlook: “The team will return 8 of 10 starters from last season with 6 of them being current juniors, many have been on the field since their freshman year. This is the most athletic team Neshaminy has ever fielded. We will be challenged early on to the find guys who complement each other on the offensive end of the field, but I am very confident things will come together.”
