Blye (Downingtown East) named co-captain for Maryland; another in line of Philly captains at College Park

Junior midfielder-attackman Owen Blye has been named a co-captain for the Maryland men’s lacrosse team, following a long line of Philly products to serve as a captain at College Park.

The other captains for 2012 are Jake Bernhardt, Joe Cummings and Drew Snider, and junior Jesse Bernhardt.

Blye was third on the Terps in scoring last year with 19 goals and 14 assists.
