Virginia is the No. 1 team in the Nike/Inside Lacrosse Media Poll for the preseason. Virginia grabbed 18 of 22 first-place votes. Duke (two first-place votes), Johns Hopkins (one first-place vote), Cornell and Denver (one first-place vote) round out the top five.

The poll will run every Monday throughout the season on InsideLacrosse.com. The first in-season poll will be Monday, Feb. 20.
