North Penn senior goalie Mike Tappen has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Arcadia University. Arcadia will play its first season of varsity lacrosse in the spring of 2013, when Tappen is a freshman.

Why did you choose school? “It is a really nice school and is close to home. I like the idea of going to a brand new program because I will have a chance to play all four years. I like how the class size is small and the teachers are always around to help you out. Also, it seemed like a good place to live.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for next year? “We have hard schedule, but we just have to put in the work and we should be able to handle it.”
Other comments: “I want to thank my parents and coach (Rick) Smith, my high school and club coach.”
