There will be a distinct Philly flavor when the LXM PRO 610 tour comes back to Radnor High Sunday.
The second showing of the LXM PRO – which first hit Radnor in August of 2010 – will feature five Philly players on the East squad, Team Cascade.
The Philly group for the East team will include Brett Moyer (Ridley, Hofstra) and Brian Kelly (Downingtown High, head coach at Whittier College, CA) on defense, as well as Todd Fairlie (Marple Newtown, Widener), John Haldy (Haverford School, captain of UVA National championship team, 2011) and DJ Andrzejewski (Penn grad, USILA All-America, 2006) at midfield.
The East attack features the likes of new addition Mikey Powell and Zack Greer, so get ready for some offense,
The West (Team STX) features LXM PRO co-founder Max Ritz (Radnor), Maryland) and Kyle Wimer (Hempfield High, UMBC) as well as middie P.J. Gilbert (Penn, ’06). Some other big names on offense include Kyle Harrison and the Bratton brothers, Shamel and Rhamel.
The gates open at 2 p.m., followed by Live Music starts in Vendor Village at 2:30 p.m., the LXM PRO game at 3:55 pm, clinics and autographs from the pros immediately afterward at 6 p.m.

After the game, all youth and high school players are invited to attend a number of free clinics run by the pro players. Skills will include shooting and stick skills, defense and goalie instruction and many other aspects of the game.
During the event the LXM PRO 610 “Futures” boys’ and girls’ high school stars from Philly will be honored based on their accomplishments in high school and tournament games.
Ritz, along with brother Xander Ritz and as well as fellow Maryland alums Scott and Craig Hochstadt and Johns Hopkins grad Harrison, initially created LXM PRO to help promote lacrosse in non-traditional hotbeds. They have expanded some of the tours to Eastern hotbeds; they held an event July 4 weekend at the Under Armour All-American Games.
The LXM PRO events feature a mixture of pro lacrosse, live music, top-notch clinics on many skills, the Fan Zone and interaction between lacrosse fans in a carnival-type atmosphere. There also will be numerous vendors. Last year’s event at Radnor drew over 3,400 people.
