Men’s recruit: Downingtown East senior midfielder Adams commits to St. Mary’s College (MD)

Downingtown East senior midfielder Steve Adams has committed to play Division III lacrosse at St. Mary’s College (MD).

Major lacrosse honors: Tri-State Senior A Division Champions, Evolution Games Champions, All Ches-Mont Honorable Mention

What will you major in/study: Biology/Pre-Medicine

Why did you choose school:
“I loved the location and campus when I stayed for my overnight at St. Mary’s. Coach (Chris) Hasbrouck seems to be leading his team in the right direction and he seems like a great coach to play for.”

Outlook for your high school team:
“We have many determined seniors this year, as well as a strong group of young players gaining experience. We should be strong contenders for the Ches-Mont championship, and have a good run in the State Playoffs.”
