Men’s recruit: Pottsgrove senior attackman Natale commits to Widener

Pottsgrove senior attackman Matt Natale has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Widener University.

College choice: Widener University

Club affiliation: Twist Lacrosse

Major lacrosse honors: Offensive Player of the Year: Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior years. Lehigh Showcase, Philly Showcase.

What will you major in/study: International Business

Why did you choose school: “I loved the atmosphere of Widener. They have a fantastic Business program. I was equally impressed by Coach (Brendan) Dawson and the team. Widener is also close to my home making it easy for my parents to attend my games.”

Outlook for your high school team:“Being one of the smallest high school teams in the area, we continue to be motivated and hope to improve our record from last year.”

Other comments: “I would like to thank my parents. They gave me the opportunity to play lacrosse and excel at all levels. A special thanks to my dad who was at all of my games and worked so hard to help me make my college decision. I’d like to also thank all of my coaches that I have had in the past and have molded me into the player I am today. Another special thank you to Andrew Case who introduced me to lacrosse when i was young. I play for both of us now!”
