Men’s recruit: Conestoga junior LSM/defenseman Langerhans commits to West Point

Conestoga junior long strick midfielder/defenseman Tim Langerhans has commitetd to play Division I lacrosse at West Point.

Graduation Year: 2013

Position: LSM/Defense

College Choice: West Point

Club Affiliation: Duke’s LC/Mesa 2013

Major lacrosse honors: Blue Chip Rising Soph/Junior, Philly Showcase Fab 40 (2010), State Champs (Stoga)

Why did you choose school? “I’ve always wanted to serve; throw in a good education and a great lacrosse team, and you’ve got the perfect match.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next year? “Although we lost a good amount of seniors last year, I think we have the leadership and definitely the skill to have another good season.”

Additional comments: “I’d like to thank all of my coaches, Brian Samson, Ebe Helm, Jason Christmas, John Sims, Peter Scott, Pat Campbell, and so many more youth and middle school coaches that have helped me get to this point in my career. Also, I want to thank my parents and everyone else who has supported me through my decision, it was definitely easy to make with all the support I received from them.”
