The Fever Orange went 6-0 and won the U-13 A championship at the Summer Slam Sunday at Westtown School.
The Fever defeated Building Biocks Elite 2016 (N.J.), 6-4, in the championship game. Along the way, fever also beat Blue Mountain LC, Richmond VA Shock, North Virginia Venom, Building Blocks Elite 2017 NJ, and Buffalo Wild Wings MD,
The Fever was led in goal by Ian Walsh and Marco Peticca, who yielded just 10 goals in six games. The defense was standout and was led by Pat Smyth, Frankie Spitz, Matt Kirkland, Timmy Irvine and Liam Hare.
The middies dominated play on both ends and featured Tommy McNamara, Beau Kush, Shain Quigley, Tyler Will, Bryce Reid, Alec Haas, and Nick Cardile. The attack was also solid and was led by Forry Smith, Vij Sivilingham, Michael Bernicker and Tommy McGuane. Luke Desperito and Addison Mueller split time at attack and midfield.
Defender Andrew Westby and midfielder Dox Aitken could not play due to injuries, but were contributors as team supporters.
