The HEADstrong Green (rising seniors) club team won the Upper Atlantic Tournament Championship Sunday at United Sports in Downingtown.

HEADstrong Green went undefeated in its championship run, beating Philadelphia Elite in the finals, 8-2. Throughout the tournament HEADstrong Green beat Duke’s White Mix, 8-7 , Duke’s Lite Mix, 12-2, and HEADstrong Blue, 7-4.
The team is coached by Mike Colleluori, Brett Moyer, Mike McCauley, and Billy McGlone.
The attack featured Kyle Bush (Ridley), Sebastian Kerslake (Henderson), Pat Swanick (St. Joseph’s Prep), Eddie McLoughlin (Cardinal O’Hara), and Tyler McWilliams (Downingtown West). At midfield was Joe Baker (Hershey), Zack Barr (Downingtown West), Kevin Benson (Ridley), James Fairchild (Malvern Prep), Eric Rankel (Downingtown West), Thomas Glynn (St. Joseph’s Prep), Nick Tordone (Owen J. Roberts), Grame Weaver (Malvern Prep), Sam Lawlor (Episcopal Academy), and Trupert Ortlieb (Episcopal Academy). Covering the defensive end was Kevin Samolsky (Malvern Prep), Jack Sheridan (Malvern Prep), Justin Verrati (Salesianum School), Joe Ward (Great Valley), Dante Addona (Episcopal Academy), Brian Andrews (Roman Catholic), Paxton Moore (Haverford School), and at goalie was Henry Coote (Episcopal Academy) and Frankie McCarthy (Ridley).
