Wissahickon Middle School's boys' lacrosse team completed a perfect 12-0 season in 2011

*Attackmen John Carrozza, Jack Shea, Kevin Lacon, Eddie Burkhart, Sam Kale, Kyle Wolf, Pat Clements, Jordan Frohmm;

*Midfielders Nate DeGroat, Cole Kropnick, Drew Gallant, Thomas Henning, Eric Kaufmann, Ethan Baim, Matt Gendleman, Dylan Daggers, Sung Ho Kim, Mason Cohen, Alex Zavitsanos, Jeff Quesenberry;

*Defensemen Noah Lejman, Andrew Penning, Jake Dalsemer, Evan Scott, Gavin Howley, Nick Pak, Ian McCarthy, JD Scannapieco, Aiden Dunn;

*And goalies Jack Myers and Liam Connor.

Lacrosse coaches were A.J. Juliani and Matt Van Kirk.

“The team had great leadership by its 8th graders, and particularly the captains,” said Juliani. “After claiming a share of the league title last year, the team came into the season with the goal to go undefeated.

“We scheduled some tough non-league opponents like Penn Charter, Malvern Prep, Germantown Academy and the Shipley School so the boys had to come ready to play every game. Our league is tough with Horsham, Upper Dublin, Abington and PW but, this group worked harder than any I’ve ever coached.

“They are good friends off the field, and play like brothers on the field. We had a great run and tons of support from the parents and community.”
