Harrison Holak made 18 saves and Chris Vetter scored three goals while Conor McSherry (four assists), Warren Kuhn and Parker Self each had two as host Central Bucks East defeated St. Joseph’s Prep, 13-8 today in a non-league boys’ lacrosse game.
The Patriots, champions of the Suburban One Continental Conference, improved to 16-1.
St. Joe’s Prep, which got two goals each from Jeff Heath and Fenton Fitzpatrick, fell to 13-4.
Bishop Shanahan 8, Downingtown East 7, OT
Adam Kaminski (two goals, two assists) had the game-winner in overtime to lift Shanahan past the Cougars, allowing Downingtown West to clinch a tie for the Ches-Mont League title.
Downingtown West (9-0 league) is now two games ahead of Downingtown East and Avon Grove after defeating Avon Grove, 6-5 on Monday in the completion of a game suspended Friday by lightning. Each team has two games to play.
Dylan Alderman and Joe McErlean each had two goals and an assist and Kyle Sullivan made 13 saves for the Eagles.
Trey Lauletta and Aaron Murphy each had two goals and an assist for the Cougars.
Interboro 15, Sun Valley 10
Justin Eckert had five goals and two assists while Hunter Jackalous, Brian Van Wyk and Jake Hermann each scored three goals to lift the Bucs to the non-league win.
Kyle Gillam led the Vanguards with six goals.
Archbishop Ryan 9, Cardinal O’Hara 6
Tim Taylor had five goals and an assist and Mark Ostaszewski posted nine saves to lead the Raiders to the Catholic League win.
Hatboro-Horsham 14, Central Bucks South 3
Sean Saunders scored four goals while Kevin Sweeney added three goals and two assists and Jimmy Durkin had three goals and one assist for the Hatters in the Suburban One Continental win.
North Penn 9, Souderton 6
Chris Anton had three goals and Chris Young cored twice to lift the Knights to the Suburban One Continental victory.
Upper Moreland 14, Cheltenham 12
Ellis Fattizzi had six goals to pace the Bears to the Suburban One American victory.
