For the third time this season and for the second time against arch-rival Allentown Central Catholic, the Hornets midfielder recorded the game-winning goal, scoring just two minutes into overtime as Emmaus defeated the Vikes, 11-10, this afternoon at Memorial Field in a tremendous Lehigh Valley Conference battle that featured six ties and six lead changes.

Feldman, who notched the game-winner in the Hornets’ 7-6 win over Central Catholic back on April 13, had a career-high five-point performance, tallying a hat trick to go along with a pair of assists to lead the Hornets.

Teammate Dan Kinek also recorded a hat trick, tallying continued his 47th, 48th and 49th goals of the season. Junior Cole Campbell added two goals and two assists and sophomore Drew Phillips added a pair of goals.

Emmaus, the defending LVC and District XI champs improved to 11-5 overall and 7-1 in league play. The Hornets also remained unbeaten at home (7-0) and are now 4-1 in one-goal games this season. Central Catholic fell to 9-3 and 4-2.

Emmaus defeated the Vikes for the 12th straight time and for the 13th time in the last 14 meetings dating back to 2005.

Central Catholic was led by Steve Mussoline who had a team-high five points on three goals and two assists. Tyler Albanese also added a hat trick while Kevin Gulyas and Matt Savage recorded a pair of goals.
