Juniors Carlianne McCabe, Kristen Bandos and Bree Buysee each scored four goals to lead host Notre Dame to a 14-11 victory over previously-undefeated Radnor today in a non-league girls’ lacrosse game involving two teams ranked high in the PA Media Rankings.

The Irish, ranked No. 5, improved to 7-1. No. 2 Radnor fell to 7-1.
McCabe also had two assists, five draw controls and Buysee added two draw controls, two groundballs and two caused turnovers. Bandos also had an assist.
Sophomore Barb McHugh also had four groundballs and three draw controls and senior co-captain MC McDonald added a goal and four draw controls for Notre Dame. Nora McCallion scored once.
“Today we faced excellent competition,” said Notre Dame coach Erin Cook. “They challenged us in every facet of our game, and the girls really stepped up. Today’s effort and hard work will prepare us extremely well for the rest of our tough league schedule.”
