Friday’s boys’ Inter-Ac League roundup: Malvern Prep, GA claim easy wins

Mike Dougherty pumped in five goals and added three assists and Drew Kennedy won 17 of 18 face-offs as visiting Malvern Prep coasted past Episcopal Academy, 12-2, today in an Inter-Ac League boys’ lacrosse game.

TJ Hanzsche added three goals and one assist and Graeme Weaver scored twice for the Friars, who improved to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in the league.

Shane Morrell and Tyler Odell each scored for EA, which fell to 3-3 and 0-1.

Germantown Academy 20, Penn Charter 10

Reid Weber scored six goals and Greg Shildkrout added five as the Patriots’ offense went wild in the Inter-Ac win over the Quakers.

Connor Crump added three goals and Beau Jones had two goals and seven assists for GA (5-1, 1-1). Jake Adoni made 12 saves for the win.

Tyler White led PC (4-4, 0-2) with five goals and Joey Sankey had three goals and four assists.
