Tuesday’s girls’ high school roundup: Harriton downs Springfield-D; Radnor, Haverford High win;

Goalie Jackie Marshall made 14 of her 19 saves in the second half as host Harriton defeated Springfield-Delco, 15-13, today in a Central League showdown.

The Rams improved to 5-0 overall and 2-0 in the league, while the Cougars fell to 3-1 overall and 1-1 in the league.

Springfield-Delco took a 2-0 lead to start the game, but Harriton went on an 11-2 spurt and seized an 11-4 halftime lead.

Carli Sukonik scored five goals while Betsy Hurtado and Caleigh Foust each had three for the Rams.

Maddy Lynch had five goals and one assist for the Cougars.

Haverford High 13, Ridley 6

Katrina Geiger scored five goals and Jill Root added two goals and an assist to lead the Fords to the Central League win.

Radnor 15, Lower Merion 2

Taryn Deck scored three goals and Kristen Norden had two goals and an assist while Shannon Quinn and
Lindsey Grossman each scored twice for the Red Raiders in the Central League win.

Colleen Packer had two goals for the Aces

Great Valley 13, Unionville 10

Rachel Kalick had five goals and an assist while Ali Karwoski and Caitlin Kratzer each contributed three goals and one assist as the Patriots rallied from a 10-5 deficit to earn the Ches-Mont League win.

Great Valley improved to 5-0 overall and 2-0 in the league. The Indians fell to 2-3 overall and 1-1 in the league.

Annabeth Donovan and Jill Murray each had two goals and an assist and Hannah Heskel scored twice for the Indians.

Notre Dame 12, Penn Charter 8

Carlianne McCabe had four goals, three draw coltrols and one assist and Bree Buysse added three goals and an assist as to help The Irish remain undefeated at 2-0 with the Inter-Ac win.

Senior captain MC McDonald added 1 goal, 4 draw controls and 3 caused turnovers and Kaileen O’Donnell had four caused turnovers for Notre Dame.

Catherine Higgins led PC with five goals and two draw controls.

Baldwin School 25, Germantown Academy 14

Sloan Warren collected five goals, one assist, five draw controls, eight groundballs and five forced turnovers for the Bears in their Inter-Ac win.

Arden Simone added five goals, one assist, five draw controls, six ground ball controls, three forced turnovers and two interceptions. Jennie Wigrizer had four goals and Ali Thaler contributed three goals and three assists while Hilary Gray had three goals, seven draw controls and five ground balls.

Strong defense was turned in by Baldwin’s Lauren Rhodes, Kristin Feinberg and Warren; junior Tiffany Hau and sophomore Arden Simone.

Brooke Kiley led GA with five goals and Alex Farris added three.

Barrack Hebrew Academy 17, Delaware Valley Friends 10

Tamar Parnet poured in nine goals and Caroline Batoff added four for Barrack in the Tri-County League win.
