This is one of a series of previews for the 2011 Philly lacrosse season

Team: Springfield Montco

Coach: Ken Rodoff, 11th season

Last year’s record: 12-7, 1st round district one playoffs

Key returnees:
Anna Studenmund, Junior
Jess Adams, Junior, 1st Team Suburban One All League Defense, ’10

Key newcomers:
Marie Brockman, Freshman, Midfield

Coach’s Outlook for 2011 Season:
“Young, but talented with solid fundamentals. Looking forward to competing in our new league, the Bicentennial Athletic League, and competing in the district/state playoff tournament!”

Team: Lansdale Catholic

Coach: Christi Karr, 1st year

Last year’s record: 9-1-6, 5-1-4 league

Coach’s Outlook for 2011 season:
“This season looks bright for us as we come off of a winning season with many key players returning. We are looking to our captains to be leaders and to provide the experience necessary to lead this young team to victories. I am excited to work with these talented girls as we build upon the lacrosse program at LC.”
