Wednesday’s high school roundup: EA defeats Hill School, 8-3; Barrack girls win

Tyler Odell collected three goals and an assist as host Episcopal Academy opened its season today with an 8-3 victory over Hill School in a non-league boys’ lacrosse game in rainy and cold conditions.

Ian Strain added two goals for the Churchmen while Garrret Walling and Shane Morrell each had a goal and an assist. Trupert Ortlieb added one goal and Morgan Westby contributed an assist while Tyler Morrell was the winning goalie.

Malvern Prep-Salesianum School (DE) postponed

The scheduled game between host Salesianum School (DE) and Malvern Prep was postponed due to poor weather. No date for the makeup game has been made.

Girls
Barrack Hebrew Academy 18, Woodlynde 8

Tamar Parnet scored seven goals and Danielle Levin added five while Gracie Gotlieb made 21 saves to pace Barrack (2-0) claimed a victory in its Tri-County League opener.
