Girls’ lacrosse: Baldwin School opens with victory over Germantown Friends

Hilary Gray, Arden Smone, Sloan Warren and Jennie Wigrizer led a balanced attack as host Baldwin School earned a 22-9 victory over Germantown Friends today in the first girls’ lacrosse game of the season.

Gray had five goals, one assist and six groundballs; Simone had five goals, one assist, five caused turnovers, four groundballs and one interception; Warren collected four goals, four assists, and nine draw controls; and Wigrizer added four goals and three assists.

Strong defense was turned in by Warren, Lauren Rhodes, Tiffany Hau, and Kristin Feinberg (2 caused turnovers).

Germatown Friends 5-4- 9
