JK Poirer (Malvern Prep) had a goal and two assists as visiting Bryant toppled St. Joseph’s, 14-3, today in men’s Division I college lacrosse.
Senior defenseman Joe Rauchut (Penn Charter) had two groundballs for the Bulldogs (1-0) and fellow starting pole Mason Poli (Downingtown East) contributed a groundball and a caused turnover.
Kyle Williams led the Hawks (0-2) with two goals and an assist and Scott Cullinan (West Chester East) scored once.

Eric Smith tallied three goals and Nick Elsmo added a pair as the Blue Hens improved to 3-0.
Maryland 16, Detroit Mercy 4
Redshirt freshman goalie Niko Amato (La Salle) earned the win with three saves while Owen Blye (Downingtown East) had a goal, an assist and two groundballs while defenseman Brett Schmidt (Upper Dublin) had three groundballs and two caused turnovers to pace the Terps in their opener.
Johns Hopkins 10, Towson 6
Kyle Wharton (Haverford School) fired in three goals, defenseman Tucker Durkin scooped five groundballs and Matt Dolente (Malvern Prep) won 8 of 14 face-offs to lead the visiting Blue Jays in their opener.
Fairfield 8, Lafayette 4
Freshman Eric Warden (Garnet Valley) scored once and Clay Wells (La Salle) added two groundballs to lead Fairfield in its opener.
Alex Floeck (Conestoga) had a goal and freshman goalie Andrijko Andrusko (Holy Ghost Prep) five saves for the Leopards (0-1).

Freshman defender Jackson Place (Episcopal Academy) had two caused turnovers and a groundballs to help the Bison open with an easy win.

LSM Adam Mojica (Springfield-Delco) had an assist and a groundball to help lift the Pride (2-0).

Rookie head coach and recent Hall of Fame inductee Brian Dougherty won his first game as CHC opened with a non-conference victory at Charlottesville, Va.
