The HEADstrong Foundation is proud to announce that the 2nd Annual “HEADstrong Night at the Wings” is scheduled for Saturday night March 5, at 7:00 PM, versus the Calgary Roughnecks at the Wells Fargo Center. 
Fans are encouraged to wear their HEADstrong Green proudly, in support of the HEADstrong Foundation and the Philadelphia Wings in the fight against blood cancer. The HEADstrong Foundation honors the memory and spirit of Nick Colleluori, a Ridley graduate who passed away just over four years ago after a lengthy battle against Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
Here are the basics:
When: Saturday March 5, 2011 at 7:00 PM.
Where: Wells Fargo Center – (Lower Level Corner Seats: Sections 116 & 117.)
Why: The Philadelphia Wings vs. The Calgary Roughnecks.
Price: $22.00 per ticket.
HEADstrong Fans can purchase these Lower Level Corner Seats for a Special Price of only $22.00 each. (Face Value = $36.00).
“I was real honored to be a witness to his struggle and all the great things he did with it,” said Philadelphia Wings standout Athan Iannucci, who played with Colleluori at Hofstra. “Instead of rolling over and calling it quits, he dug in his heals and made a difference with as many people as possible.
“I really respected that. Nick would come in the locker room with tubes coming out of his chest … no hair, and say , ‘I wish I could be here with you guys.’ He would give us the greatest speeches. it was a pretty moving year and he had a lot to do with our success (17 straight wins) that year.”
These tickets are available only to HEADstrong Foundation supporters online at www.wingslax.com/headstrong. Groups of (25) or more can purchase tickets by phone at (215-952-5433) which will eliminate the Online Service Fee.
As special guests of HEADstrong & the Wings, the Ridley Youth Lacrosse 5th & 6th Graders will be on the Wells Fargo Center turf for a Pre-Game Scrimmage.
Arrive early, and be on hand for the HEADstrong Pre-Game Video and Honorary Face-Off, as the HEADstrong Nation turns the Big House green.
To celebrate the event, Wings Players & Coaches will be wearing special HEADstrong Green Game Jerseys, Shoelaces & Neck Ties for the Game.
After the game, the special HEADstrong Green Game Jerseys will be auctioned off at the ATT Pavilion Post-Game Party.
And in support of the HEADstrong Mission, the Philadelphia Wings will be donating a portion of all ticket proceeds to the HEADstrong Foundation.
Tickets can be printed out as “e-tickets” on your computer, sent by regular mail, or held for pick-up at the Wings Ticket Office Will-Call Window.
Sales are on a first come – first served basis, so don’t get left out.
