Quaker Fall LaxFest releases schedule for next weekend’s top club team event

The schedule has been released for the second Quaker Fall LaxFest, a 16-team invitational featuring many of the top boys’ club teams in the Mid-Atlantic Region and Canada.

The event will be held Sunday, Nov. 7 at Radnor High, from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Coaches from at least 80 men’s college teams are expected. The event will feature seven of the top Philly teams: Duke’s Lacrosse Club, HEADstrong Elite, LB3, Mesa Fresh 2012, Mesa Fresh Select, Rebel Elite and Twist 2012.

The field also has three top Long Island teams (Long Island Select/For Love of Game, Long Island Express, Long Island Sting), two from the Baltimore region (MadLax and Maryland Roughriders), two from Ontario (Edge Srs. and Edge Jrs.), one from New Jersey (Leading Edge 2012) and one from upstate New York (CNY Roadhawks).

Each team will play three 60-minute games, with action on four fields (two turf). Times are 9 a.m., 10:15, 11:30, 12:45, 2 and 3:15.

Schedule

Games will be 60 minutes running time, 2-minute halftime, PA High School rules. Teams will be allowed one 30-second timeout per half. There will not be an overtime if a game ends in a tie. Field #s correspond with the Field Map.
