The Drexel women’s lacrosse team is hosting the Lax 4 Maggie 4v4 Fall Classic Tournament in November to raise money for the Maggie Medvetz Education Fund.

Maggie was the Dragons’ little sister, through the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation. She suffered from brain cancer, and fought the disease for months before passing away last October. The funds raised will provide a scholarship to a student attending Downingtown’s St. Joseph’s Catholic School, where Maggie would have attended.

The event will be held on Saturday, November 13, from 8 am to 4 pm, at Drexel University’s Vidas Field. The cost is $150 per team; and individuals can register and will be placed on a house team (Individual registration cost $30).

There also will be free instructional shooting clinics offered throughout the day with Drexel coach Anna Marie Vesco. For more information, contact coach Vesco at (215) 895-1885 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting              (215) 895-1885      end_of_the_skype_highlighting or Email at AV47@drexel.edu
