Men’s recruits: Five Philly grads will play at Division III colleges

The following Philly boys are playing college lacrosse this year at the Division III level:

*Sean Boyd, Council Rock South, attackman, Alvernia. Boyd scored 34 goals and earned Third Team Suburban One National Conference honors for the Golden Hawks. Boyd also will play ice hockey at Alvernia.

*Billy McCullough, Springfield-Delco, face-off specialist/midfielder, King’s. McCullough was a Second Team Central League pick who helped the Cougars go 20-3, win the league title and reach the District 1 finals.

*Justin Morgan, Perkiomen Valley, attackman/midfielder, Stevens. Morgan was a First Team Pioneer Athletic Conference pick who helped the Vikings reach the PAC-10 and District 1 playoffs.

*Andy Mardinly, Upper Darby, attackman, Widener. Mardinly was an Honorable Mention Central League pick who helped the Royals finish 10-9 and reach the District 1 playoffs.

*Kevin Reinert, Parkland, attackman, Wesley College. Reinert had 50 goals last year, helping the Trojans reach the LVC and District 11 semifinals.
