Radnor senior midfielder Kelyn Freedman, who led the Red Raiders to their second straight Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association championship, has been named to the First Team of the All-ESPN RISE girls’ lacrosse squad.
Freedman collected 90 goals, 111 assists and a school-record 201 points in 2010. She also had 103 groundballs, 106 draw controls and caused 48 turnovers, while earning US Lacrosse All-American honors for the third year. Freedman – who signed with Georgetown – also has been named the MaxPreps National Player of the year and the DelcoTimes Player of the Year and was selected to play in the Under Armour All-American Game.
Freedman’s teammate at Radnor, defender Alyssa Dunlap, has been named to the Second Team All-ESPN RISE squad. Dunlap, headed to Vanderbilt, is a US Lacrosse and Under Armour All-American.
