Ohio State’s Kelly Haggerty (Unionville) and West Chester’s Jackie Baker (Penncrest) have been added to the Tewaaraton Trophy Watch List.

Haggerty is enjoying a brilliant year for the 7-1 Buckeyes, leading the team with 27 goals and 21 assists. Baker, a key on last year’s Division II championship team for WCU, is a senior attacker who has 10 goals and 6 assists in three games for the 4-0 and top-ranked Rams.

Haggerty and Baker join nine other Philly-area Watch List players. Penn has two on the list: senior defender Hilary Renna and junior midfielder Ali DeLuca. Also listed were Princeton senior defender Marie McKenna (Penn Charter), Duke sophomore midfielder Emma Hamm (Baldwin School) and Franklin & Marshall senior midfielder Jen Pritchard (Penncrest).

The Philly men are Penn State senior goalie Drew Adams (Springfield-Delco), Virginia junior defender Ken Clausen (Hill School), Cornell senior defender Matt Moyer (Chadds Ford, Tower Hill, Del.) and Loyola long stick midfielder P.T. Ricci (Conestoga).

The list is whittled down when the NCAA playoffs arrive and eventually only five finalists will be named for the men and women before the winners are announced.
