Downingtown West is hosting the 5th Annual Brian Houshower Festival on Saturday, Oct. 25, to honor the memory of a promising lacrosse player who died in a car accident on Nov. 10, 2003.

Brian excelled in lacrosse and soccer and was a sophomore in the first year of Downingtown West High. He had played lacrosse since he was 6 years old and had played at the youth level for West Bradford Youth Athletics and Lionville Youth Association.

The tourney will feature a 10v10 Championship Format; it will last from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and each team is guaranteed three games. The fee is $550.00 and a non-refundable $100.00 deposit is required. There will be an A Division/B Division format and the rain date for the event is Sunday, Oct. 26.
