The No. 14 Swarthmore College men’s lacrosse team was rewarded for their remarkable season with an NCAA Tournament at-large selection, announced on Sunday night.
The program will make its first NCAA Tournament appearance under head coach Pat Gress and their first as a program since 1984.
After receiving a first-round bye, the Garnet will open the NCAA Tournament versus Grove City College on Saturday, May 13 at Washington & Lee University. The winning team will advance to play the winner of Washington & Lee versus Centre College or Pfeiffer University in Sunday’s weekend finale.
First Round – Centre vs. Pfeiffer (Wednesday, 4pm)
Second Round – Washington & Lee vs. first round winner (Saturday, 12pm)
Second Round – Swarthmore vs. Grove City (Saturday, 3pm)
Third Round: second round winners (Sunday, 3pm)
